Learn how this translates into responsible hygiene products.
Did you know that all Techline’s paper products are EU Ecolabel certified? EU Ecolabel is a reliable, transparent and verified label supported by the European Commission and all EU member states, Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland. The criteria for a product to be certifiable cover the full product lifecycle, from resources to end-of-life and everything in between. Typically, only the top 10–20% of products in the market meet these criteria and can be certified.
Another nice fact: all Techline’s hygiene paper products are made in Europe. This minimizes the distance travelled from the production site to your organization, ensuring lower transport emissions.
Our manufacturers reduce their environmental impact by recycling production water, optimizing energy use, and sourcing certified fibers. These actions help reduce waste, water consumption and pollution, and carbon footprint.
Typical actions include:
In our range, you will find products made from pure (‘virgin’) resources and recycled materials. When a Techline product is made from recycled materials, you can count on at least 95% recycled content.
As wood/cellulose is a key resource for hygiene paper products, we ensure that resource collection and production are in line with the EUDR. Additionally, most of our paper products are FSC or PEFC certified. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) safeguards responsible forestry by certifying forests managed with consideration for people, wildlife and the environment. A PEFC certificate guarantees that the products originate from responsibly managed forests, avoiding deforestation and ensuring the renewal of the resources used.
You can find certification information for each product on our product page.
As a Bunzl-owned brand, Techline’s production processes comply with Bunzl’s strict rules for ethical sourcing. This includes a code of conduct, which is a basic condition for doing business with us, as well as in-person audits in high-risk areas.
We have zero tolerance for practices that breach local or international workers’ welfare or employment conditions. Think of child or forced labour, insufficient days of rest and inadequate salaries. Relationships with suppliers that fail to make improvements in these areas are terminated.
